Bradbury House Care Home

Located in the heart of the historic town of Braintree, Bradbury House is the very first home in the Caring Homes family. The home dates in part from the 17th century and, following a comprehensive and sympathetic conversion, retains many original features whilst also providing an outstanding residential care setting.

The home offers a full range of residential care support, including trial stays, respite breaks and convalescent care as well as long term care. Residents are encouraged to bring important personal possessions to personalise their rooms. Bradbury House operates an open visiting policy, where residents and loved ones may visit at convenient times. In common with all of our homes, Bradbury HouseÂ’s manager has a qualified nursing background. The home is fully registered with the Care Quality Commission and has ISO 9001 / 2000 and Hospitality Assured accreditation.

Establishment: Caring Homes was founded in 1994, with the purchase of Bradbury House in Essex. From those early days, Caring Homes has grown into one of the largest and most highly respected independent providers of care in the country.
