IÂ’ve always worked with images and I love it! I have a BA(hons) degree in Fine Art and still paint and sculpt but donÂ’t really have the time. Before I became a professional photographer I worked as an artist & illustrator. My journey into photography was gradual and natural. As a professional photographer I am completely self-taught. After many years working as a photographer and photographerÂ’s assistant in London I started exclusively photographing weddings in 2004. Initially I worked in the Peterborough, Cambridge and Northampton areas but soon started shooting weddings all over the UK and abroad. I started filming wedding videos in 2010 and now provide both services and offer packages to suit every wedding.

I donÂ’t take many posed photographs and prefer a much more natural approach to wedding photography. Many photographers promote their approach to weddings as natural but I have discovered I am at the extreme end of natural. When IÂ’m photographing a wedding I like to shoot from a distance and keep a very low profile. ItÂ’s essential to sometimes get up close and personal and I do this in a discreet and unobtrusive way. I always have two cameras on the ready, work hard, and stay calm. My biggest strength is my understanding of my subjectÂ’s emotions and how to make the best use of natural light.
